      • OpenSDL Hub integration

      The ScienceOL Hub is a public catalog and read-only distribution surface for virtual-laboratory assets. OpenSDL owns the portable package format, OCI mapping, validation, lab CLI, and local content-addressed cache; SciLaxy owns discovery, previews, identity, and hosted catalog policy.

      Contract boundary

      • Published asset identity is an immutable OCI reference with a digest.
      • OpenSDL can build and consume packages without SciLaxy or a ScienceOL account.
      • SciLaxy does not reinterpret an OpenSDL source directory; it consumes validated package descriptors and immutable object locations.
      • Public catalog reads do not grant publication authority.
